Entry 68, Magic Realism

        I believe that many teenagers has this tendency of trying to be cool and growing up. When teenagers are in school, they would not want to be known as the kid that loves magic, or things that are not real, therefore they would tend to not enjoy the genre of make beliefs, or potentially fake content. Some people with a lack of imagination could also have some problems with this genre. People are not going to be able to relate to the things the stories are talking about, they would not understand the concept of angels or supernatural things in the story. In order for the readers to enjoy and understand the stories completely, they have to be able to relate to the experience the author is trying to convey. Well for me, it is not that hard to understand magic realism because as I am a very superstitious person, so I believe that things such as ghosts and these supernatural things does exist. All the phenomenon that can not be explained by science that is expressed through Magic Realism, I still can have no problem reading this type of literature and being able to connect and understand the texts.
