Entry 17, Favorite Stories

 When I was young, I read a book called the Lord of the Flies. In my opinion, that is the greatest book I have ever read so far. I believe it was the plot and the characters that most appealed to me. My favorite character was Piggy, the guy that got killed at at last. There was just something about him, he was one of those people that got picked on alot throughout the whole book. He was always the nice guy providing good ideas and solutions to things but was always shot down because he was fat or just because they had no respect for him. I believe that the plot of the story, how the kids are the ones that kills themselves and screws up the island, that is really interesting to me because I feel like if this was actually going to happen in real life, that is exactly how it would end. The plot was very interesting to me at the time, I kept reading the book over and over again even if it was not assigned by a teacher. I really enjoyed the book in general, how every single character has his own traits, the more important ones like Ralph and Piggy. I chose Piggy because I thought even if he wasn't a main character, he held crucial parts of the conflicts and he was always the one that either started it or tried to resolve it. I really enjoy reading this book and I will be reading this for the rest of my life.
