Entry 13, Unpredictable Characters

Unpredictability is never really my thing. I was never the unpredictable one. In all my relationships, friendships, or just how people see me in general, I was never the unpredictable one. People always think, "oh he's Brandon" so many things are expected of me, or many things are unexpected of me. Things like being really loud in class, challenging Mr. Jacoby with the tiniest things would be what was expected of me. Being neat, being organized on the other hand would not be something that is so called "predictable" of me. I had a girlfriend last year, in alot of people's minds, unpredictability is something very important in a guy. If you lose all of it, then you lose all your charisma, your charm. That is exactly what happened to me, and what can I say? I am just this type of person. I believe that this is good, being predictable is just simply saying that you are yourself and you continue to be yourself. I have infact tried to be unpredictable one time to my ex girlfriend, and I had challenged her beliefs which I never use to, then it ended up in a raging war between me and her. I think unpredictability in real life is not that great, compared to being in a story or a movie. In a movie, a character being unpredictable will just further complicate and excite the story with all its complications and the difficulty for the main character to achieve what it wanted. On the other hand in real life, when a person is unpredictable, sometimes people will just think he is hard to get close to, as friends or as lovers. Sometimes these things just don't work out in real life, these things may be good in stories, but it does not mean it is always great in real life.
